Position Overview

We are looking for a self sufficient C Technician to join our team at Grease Monkey. We specialize in quick oil changes and also full automotive repair. This position would requiring conducting diagnosis and repair of vehicle engines, suspensions and other maintenance items. It includes changing brakes, bearings, tie rods, tires, alignments and more.

Qualifications

Knowledge of latest factory scanning tools
Must have related computer knowledge
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A valid driver's license, clean driving record and background check
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident
Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of automotive repairs
Maintain professionalism
Keep work area orderly and clean
Clearly write and communicate needed repairs/maintenance and the parts and time needed to repair
Test vehicles both before and after repair

Crew members must attend crew meetings and run errands as required, as well as other duties assigned by a supervisor.

Working Conditions

Materials Used: Automotive oils, fluids and lubricants, windshield washer fluid, battery electrolyte. Environment: Frequent exposure to outside weather elements, noise, and vehicle exhaust fumes throughout the entire shift.

Physical Activities: Position requires good corrected vision, hearing, frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, handling, reaching, and lifting.

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
